I am gearing up for the holidays, and can't wait to decorate our apartment for Christmas! A radio station around here is already playing Christmas music, and claiming that it will help people get things done early instead of last minute (I think it's a desperate attempt to get listeners...but, hey, they got me!).
Although, I don't have much to write about other than boring everyday things, I do want to want to share the most delicious, easy meal ever. Nick and I have had this awesome combo from Trader Joe's a couple of times, and every time we do, I wind up craving it! So, if you have a TJ's near you, go out and get some Mandarin Orange Chicken and Jasmine Rice. They are both in the frozen section, and I don't think you will be disappointed!
Hopefully, I will have something interesting to blog about soon!
Ooo they just opened a Trader Joe's in Greenville, we may have to go check that out! I'm not usually one for frozen meals but sometimes you can find a gem :)
ReplyDeleteYou buy the chicken in a bag in the frozen section, and the rice in a box in the frozen section. What I like about the chicken is that the sauce comes separate, so you bake the chicken and it's crispy and then toss it in the sauce that you heat on the stove. So it's crispy and covered in sauce...yum. so good!
ReplyDeleteHope you had an easy UNEVENTFUL flight. Flying, I think, is a time to be grateful that you are BORED!!
ReplyDeleteI miss my old Trader Joes (on the DW Highway in Nashua) now it's just over 45 to get there as it is on the opposite side of Worcester. My little town will NEVER get one!! Haaa!!
I'll have to make a trip into the "big city."
Have fun!!
Tell Nick I said HIEEEEEEEE!!!! :) :) :)
Crystal, I wish I had an uneventful flight, exact opposite really! I had a layover in Philly, and my first flight from NC was delayed an hour, so I was bumped to another flight in Philly. Once on that plane, sat on the tarmac for an hour before they told us there were mechanical problems on the plane. We had to de-plane and wait about an hour until the other plane was ready to board. Once into Boston, I didn't have a ride so waited an hour for the bus to finally take me home.
ReplyDeleteIt was seriously the longest three days of my life! As far as Trader Joes, the closest one to us is in Hyannis, which is about 1/2 hour, the other one is in Hanover, a good 45 minutes (but I will stop there on my way home from school or something!)
